FGD washing water treatment Rotterdam Lot D21

The flue gas washing water treatment plant for the power plant Rotterdam has been designed as two-staged plant with fractionated precipitation to reduce the cost for the disposal of residual solids rich in heavy metals. Dosing an Organosulphide in the second stage of the plant and having an optimized process in place, the ambitious limit values for heavy metals can be achieved without installing selective ione exchangers as polishing step. The sludge dewatering for stage 1 and 2 utilizing chamber filter presses as well as the complete chemical storage and dosing system (lime milk, ferrum chloride, polyelectrolyte, TMT 15, HCl) have also been delivered and installed by SFL.
